Readathon: Hour 14

I've now finished three books, yeah! The third book finished is Sue Monk Kidd's When the Heart Waits. It's a book that I'm reading for my 888 challenge, in the religion category. And now I'll be moving on to my new book, which I've finally selected. That would be (drum roll):

A Virtuous Woman by Kaye Gibbons

And I'm off.....

3 books is great! I didn't know SMK had written another book. Is it a novel?

Kaye Gibbons is good choice.

The Sue Monk Kidd is actually a non-fiction book. She's apparantly written quite a bit on faith and religiosity (no, I had no idea either). I picked up When the Heart Waits because it fit the religion category in my 888 challenge. From what I've seen, her writings really focus on women and religiousity. They are very clearly Christo-centric, but I'm not the most religious person in the world and I've found her ideas to have secular applications and be interesting, even if one doesn't share her religious ideas.

Oh, and I promise, all of my books have been *very* easy reads. I'm also a really fast reader.

Good luck everyone, I'm heading back to A Virtuous Woman.
